Spotting is pretty normal for the first few months of starting hormonal birth control.
I don't know why you started your period early. I started mine about three days after taking the Nuvaring out. If you just had your period, I don't think you will get a second one after taking the ring out, but you'd better check with your doctor to be sure and to make sure that your irregularity is normal.
Don't forget that it takes a week to become effective if you take it out early so be sure to use a backup method for a week after inserting a new Nuvaring.
Hope this helps...

I used Seasonale while it first got here out. I hated it. i've got been on Ortho Tricyclen and Ortho Tricyclen Lo. LOVE the two certainly one of them. I desire the Lo, considering's a decrease hormone dose. yet, I additionally enjoyed the Ortho Tricyclen because of the fact it had pimples medicine in it besides. the two help with the cramping and shortened my era. My sister makes use of the patch, yet she gets a rash from it. i've got long previous off the pill and used the condoms, the spermicide, the sponge, the action picture and so on. yet i do no longer purely like the mess. and that i additionally hated the "Oh! wait a 2d honey, I have been given to insert something first." good success!

you may get another cycle. if this happens again...do NOT take it out. just leave it in like nothing has gone wrong and only take it out when you are supposed to. when starting new bc, your body may take some time to adjust. so put it back in, leave it in for the correct amount of time, and get yourself back on track. if you take it out everytime you have spotting, you might as well not use it at all..... just let your body get used to it.
