ok this is nastey. i am 12 and i just started getting these like brown stains on my underwear... but i dont think its my period... but im not sure, and i got them yesterday after like a period of seven hours, but didnt get them while i was sleeping, then today at school i got them agian and am home and had to change.... idk what they are and i have practice to go to. someone pplease help idk what this means. so confused.

Brown sports are generally a discharge you can get right before your period begins, this can happen every month. Put a panty liner on and you will be ok. You're the right age to start your period, it's probably comming or may just be a really light flow and you just got your period. Your period wil slow when you sleep which is why you didnt get it at night.
You'll be fine.

my thought on this is that if you have had your period for a while already and you are quite familar with it. and if this is different then what is your normall go see a doctor. But if this is the first time your are experiencing all of this its just that youve reached puberty and your messy friend is here to stay for many years to come. If i was you I would talk to an older lady that you know and trust she can tell you all about it. If i was you i would get myself some pantyliners and tampons. thee are pads out there also you choose which one suits you best. personally tampons

Try wearing a pad for now, it could be the signs that you will get your period soon. Just try and get through it and make sure you ask your mom or a friend who has gotten their period already. A doctor or school nurse might also be helpful. The school nurse might even have pads in their office, for instances like yours.
Good luck and don't worry all of us girls has to get it eventually so you have plenty of people to ask advice from.

I had the same thing when I started my period. your staring your period honey. Just put in a pad for your practice and when you get home try tampons I know its really weird at first but you will be much happier when you do..

Sweet heart that is your period. you will spot for several days prior to seeing any blood. I would let your mother see just to be sure. congratulations.. now the fun begins. Just kidding it's really not that much fun. But it is a sign your growing up. Be sure and share this w/ your mom. Good luck

well...yes you are right this is kind of "nasty" lol...umm but, is it possible that you're just passing gas without knowing it..and maybe a little somethin slipped out? *pukes* lol Im not having a good time answering this one...but if it's definitely not from your behind, it could definitely be the starting of your period..sometimes the blood that comes out is a dark brown-ish colour..this is normal. just talk to your mom about it! she'll explain

it could mean that your about to have your period. ask your mom or guardian too. try wearing a pad for a few days and see what happens. i hope i helped!

I don't know what to tell you because I have never heard of such a thing that has happen to anyone. Maybe you should see a doctor..........well I hope you get better.....................
