Say what you want. When you want. How you want.
If someone reports you, or suspends you, they should review the way of the world. The universe is open and not a ******* clam shell.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can't tell people what to do.

I posted a question once about how to get my 4 year old daughter to take a nap, and some sick person suggested the babysitter have sex with her... I reported them because it just wasn't funny or acceptable for someone to post such a terrible and disgusting thought... so yes, there really are things people put on here that warrant a report, and I hope he got suspended.
People like that need help.

I was reported for a question I answered about abortion. The question was something like....(if women want the rights to have an abortion then why are you aborting female fetuses, don't they have a right too, after all they are females and your taking their rights away, isn't that defeating the purpose?) And all I wrote was....( I like the way you think.) And some angry abortion rights person reported me. I guess some people can't handle others opinions if it's not the same as theirs so they have them reported. Immaturity is everywhere.

I haven't been on the receiving end, but I've reported 4 entries by other people so far.
So, I'll answer from the opposite perspective - "what type of thing you would report somebody for?"
2 cases were a link to a commercial website disguised as an answer.
2 were totally gross, psychotic questions of a completely adult nature that kids should NEVER see or even imagine would be possible.

I have been reported for chatting ! For not a question or answer [ what is that about?] One time I got another user mad at me and she/he reported almost every question I had answered for 6 months thankfully yahoo caught on and I only lost 600 points ! That person is no longer around and the irony of it was she picked my husband as best answer and he said the same thing as I did.

The following are examples of what suspensions and reporting are for:
1. Sexually explicit or insulting comments.
2. Racist or derogatory remarks.
3. Pointless foul language.
4. Insulting other members for no reason.
etc.

If the question is vulgar or not a question they will delete it. Some people answer with unnecessary profanity or answer a serious one with no helpful answer or harmful ones. Months ago there was a lot of these with a lot of graphic (sexual), unnecessary language and ridiculous questions (not even real ones), I don't see very many of these anymore.
I answered a teen girl's question twice (two different questions but were related). Both times my answer was deleted and I did not use any profanity. I believe she deleted them only because I didn't agree with what she was doing and telling her stop playing childish games with boys was a bit harsh. (ya right)
Those were the only ones that got deleted.

If someone doesn't agree with you they report you. I have been reported many times. Never been suspended though and don't care to be.

The only thing I've been cited for is not answering questions. So if I have something I really want to say to someone, I always answer the question first - then you can say almost anything as long as you're not hateful or racist.
