hello all, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I walk alot, so walking shouldn't hurt as much as it has the past few days. It's like my whole left side from my hip bone to the bottom of my ribs cramp right up, I can't even walk a block without this happening, let alone working (I'm a grocery store cashier, the repetitive nature is getting to me too). do you think it's worth seeing a doctor or is there something that I can take to get rid of this pain/cramp? cause walking down to the doctor will be pretty tough.

Oh I know!!! What you are describing is called round lligament pain. It hurts like a sharp knife sometimes!!!
What you'll find is that the more times you've carried a baby the more you'll have them.
With my last one #4, I had it after sex every single time too!!!
Ouch!!!!!
It's normal however and shouldn't hurt the baby one bit. It's just one of those things we have to deal with when we're hosting a baby in our tummies.
Good luck!!!

When I was pregnant I had the exact same thing happen in the 2 months. The cramp pain was excruciating. My doctor told me that the baby was big and that because of his size, it was pulling on the ligaments which hold the uterus up. I think you should tell your doctor asap, just to be on the safe side.

Well- I had the same thing and my doctor said it is my ligaments stretching to accomodate my growing baby/He said to take Tylenol when I got this way and apply a heating pad to the area where it hurts. He also said warm baths should relieve the pain.
Just to be on the safe side though I would ask your OB!

YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR DOCTOR EVERYRTIME YOU HAVE ABDOMINAL CRAMPING AFTER 7MO. JUST AS A PERCAUSIONARY. YOUR CRAMPING BC YOUR BODY IS STRETCHING AND GROWING TO ACCOMIDATE YOUR LITTLE ONE. ITS TELLING YOU TO TAKE IT EASY :) CALM DOWN AND RELAX. A NICE WARM BATH ALWAYS HELPS ME UNWIND.
