Because they have your best interests at heart and young people do not often accept the benefit of the parent's life experiences.........after all, we are just parents or old people so we can not possibly understand you or how society is these days. Young people have a tendancy to assume only they know best. It is called 'the arrogance of youth'.
And yes, if you become a parent you too will be viewed that way by your children eventually.
I'm 52 and my mother still tries to 'guide' me.

I hate to nag,I hate to hear anybody nag,my mother would get off to nagging, she'd wake up in the morning nagging and she'd go to sleep nagging. What does nagging accomplish? Nothing. You can drive someone away when you're a nag!My brothers all have nagging wives and I ask them "Didn't you have enough with mom always nagging at us"?I will never do that to my loved ones.

Actually, this is something that will happen to you when you have children. Women get overprotective of their children. Women who have had bad things happen to them are usually worse about this. Mother's nag so you won't become trash. You need to understand that she has been there and done that. Nothing you ever go through will be new to her. This is the way it goes. Too bad we don't listen when we are younger. That's our curse as we get older. We always wish we knew what we know now. Good luck and give your mom a break. She is just afraid of you getting hurt.

by the time you're 35 you should be on your own, and a similar for your brother. If he's out operating and needs someone to %. up after him and sparkling his position of abode, considering he's residing on my own he can locate the money for to pay someone to go back in and take a verify out this. in the journey that your mom is powerful sufficient to do what she does for you, i imagine you're a actual ungrateful daughter to be complaining about her the way you're. sometime even as she's not round, perhaps you'll locate out. You sound a lifeless ringer for my sister, and he or she is a nagging little w*tch that could't keep a husband. i did not recommend to disillusioned you, yet you requested, and all I did change into answer.

It's a pain in the backside especially when they tell you to practise safer sex. What do you suppose they did in their day? No it's not genetic but nagging can be attributed to mother love.

Because we can (LOL), and because we love you....and yes, you'll probably become a nag when you become a parent too. I didn't think I would, but I find myself sounding like my mother all the time! Help! :)

Mothers don't nag. It's more like teaching you to do right because they care about you and want you to suceed in life.
If you become a mother, then You will see why your mother "nagged" at you. She cares. She Loves you.
That's just how mothers are.
