A great, very adaptable actress. Plays completely different parts in About a Boy and Muriel's Wedding for example.
She's also good at accents - such as in the Sixth Sense.
And in fact, she's much prettier in real life than when she's playing a part - she tends to get the "character" parts, or the leads in indie films rather than the big glamorous leading ladies. But this will give her longevity in her career, much like Judy Dench.

Toni Collette is a fab actress and is superb in Muriels Wedding, such an excellent girlie film! Recommend everyone to watch it! Think she is Austrailian too!

she's a great actress and very underrated. I've just seen her in Little Miss Sunshine - another fine performance.
