What is the diameter of the marbles? Need this to determine how many can fit in a given area.

Then you need to use google to look uo area of US (does teacher want just continental US or also Alaska and Hawaii?)

1 mole marbles= 6.023 x 10exp23 marbles

First, you'll need to find the area of the continental US. Then, you'll need to determine the volume of a single marble. Multiplying that volume by Avogadro's number will give you the volume of a mole of marbles. Finally, dividing that volume by the area of the US will give you the depth.

Area of US = 9,631,420 km²
Density of glass (I assume glass marbles) = 2.6 g/cm^3
