i have limewire and it dosnt cost me a dime!

It's free, but there is a better version of Limewire that costs around $20.

Limewire is free. Limewire PRO isn't, and trust me, they nag you every time you start up the program to upgrade. Don't bother.
Make sure you have a great antivirus before you download anything, though. We've had to completely wipe out our laptop and reinstall everything several times, and that's a pain.

No, its completly free. I have not had to pay anything. You can for a fee get limewire pro, it lets you download faster, however you dont have to sign up. After you download limewire basic, and everytime you log on to it, it will ask you to upgrade, always click on the 'later' button, and you can use it for free. I have had it for about a year now, and not had to pay anything, you dont even give them a credit card to sign up.

Limewire will cost you in time and trouble to get rid of the infestation of spyware and virus you will eventually get by downloading music from them. I am a computer technitian and limewire, kazaa, and other music download programs are bad news!

I've never paid anything and i have limewire installed on my pc. just don't download the one that cost. download the basic it al works the same.

basic limewire doesnt cost anything, but unless you have a good virus blocker, i'd be careful what you download from there.

therer r 2 kinds of limewire...the pro one and the free one..when u go to the site it..it compares them..i have the free one :}
