Both are very talented players. If I had to chose one over the other I would chose Allen Iverson because of the way he handles the ball and how he leads his teamates. Plus he has 11 yrs experience. I think denver was an ok choice for him. I thought he would have beeen better suited in Boston or Miami. But from the games I have seen him played in I see him and the nuggets are getting along as a team. and it looks like a perfect fit for him. but only time will tell.

Right now I believe Iverson is better as he has more experience. However down the road I see Melo being the better overall player than Iverson, but that's just my opinion. Iverson at one time felt he could win it all for his team (he almost did a few years back) where as now I think he realizes that he needs a good team surrounding him. Even Jordan had Pippen, Kerr and Rodman. I actually think that Iverson and Melo will be a great duo. Melo needed another all star as well as Iverson. They should compliment eachother with their style of game play.

I think that carmello is a better all around palyer but iverson has more zazz flash on the court but if i was trying to build a team i would take carmello. Great move 4 iverson he needs another great player to help him win and he cant get it done himself!
Denver will be great when him and mello get 2 play 2gether jan22

We'll get to see who's better when Melo returns; but about the switch for Iverson, it was a pretty bad idea--the Nuggets have been losing ALOT since they got Iverson, and unless they start getting better with Melo Iversons gonna have a bad rep.

Yes, Allen Iverson is one of the best in the league, but so is Carmelo....both play different positions, so its hard to say whos better....It will be interesting to see how they play together.

not even close and that i'm not even a Jordan fan. I certainly have a annoying time believing the will gel. I forsee some worry in allotting the ball between the two. Pippen and Jordan had a stable understanding of thier rolls on the bulls. i don't see the comparable happening with 'Melo and Iverson.
