yes... hang on... i wrote this.....
truer blood thats never been bled
is flowing from an open wound
though i tie the tourniquet tight
his life is slipping faster
breathing into his dying lungs
just for the hope of a pulse revived
listening to those truthful last words
telling me he loved me and i'd be fine
but how am i going to be alright
when he's here dying by my side
i smooth his hair and look into his eyes
fighting back tears and choking myself
his face is so young-so much life to be lived
but his eyes tell stories of sorrow
and show the age beyond his years
how will i be fine when my angel is dying
with him dies all hope for this world
and leave me to fight for a myth called freedom
a cause that existed but now is a dream
truer words that've never been spoken
are escaping with the last of dying air...
