like any new toy, like a bike, or rollerblades, they take time to get use to. I would have to say they are fairly simple to get used to if you have good balance and have experience with rollerblades. I would have to say they will not be allowed at school. But the great thing about them is you can take out the wheels and just walk with the shoes....they are very simple construction and they are very durable. Good Luck and God Bless,

They've been banned in a lot of shopping centres etc as dangerous, not for the wearers but for other pedestrians.
I think they are a bit of a novelty because I got some for my family at xmas and they are now firmly at the back of the cupboard, not as good as they look on the ads!
