My now ex boyfriend gave me some very nice jewelry for my birthday and Valentines day a few years ago. We broke up and he never has come back to claim them. is there any way I can go back to Zales ans get some money back for them. I am in predicament and need the cash.

The best way to get the most out of what you have is to sell the items to an individual---If you take these things to a pawn broker they are going to give you a dime on the dollar for the value you have--that's just the way they operate---they make their money on people who are actually desperate for cash !! Find an individual and make them a deal that they can't refuse---if you need a base idea on what the items are worth---go to that jewelry store you're talking about and look around---find similar items and when you get the standard asking price in mind that they are selling these things for-------come down about half and there is your "once in a lifetime deal" for YOUR customer !!!!

No you probably cannot take something back that has been 2 years most stores have a certain time before you can take them back most stores here it is like 90 days.. or if you are not sure call the store they will give a valid time you can take stuff back :)

I HIGHLY doubt they would take it back. Try selling them on Ebay. You'll probably get a better price there than at a pawn shop.

no way!unless it has a warranty.i suggest you go to a pawn shop instead.you probably won't get what its actually worth but it's better than nothing.or post on some online classifieds that you're selling it...local online classifieds:http://www.craigslist.com/

No, you can't get the money back from the store that it was purchased from. but you can pawn it or sell it on Ebay.
