I bought a craftsman and it will not go under the frame, it misses by about .5 inch. It's as low as is possible already. Tires are fully inflated.

I use MC-450 for everything. It lifts Shadows...no problem.

One problem - K&L doesn't sell to the public. Most motorcycle dealerships are authorised dealers for K&L

Obviously I don't know what type of craftsman jack it was, but it should slide under no problem. I have a roadstar that I lowered 2 inches in the rear, and mine will still slide under no problem. You could always run the front tire up on a 2x4 or something similar. That should give you the little bit of extra clearance that you need. You might also want to check to see if your forks have enough oil in them, if they are leaking and sagging a little bit, you would have a pretty harsh ride and that could be part of the problem with why your jack won't fit.

Consider a Larin jack & adapter plate from Sams Club. The one I bought had a plate with four adjustable jack points. With proper adjustment it fit perfectly under my Honda ACE VT1100. Not too expensive either. A few years ago I paid under $75 for the lift and adapter plate.

A friend rolls his motorcycle onto two pieces of plywood to get that extra c/h of clearance for his Sears lift.

If you are getting part-way under the frame, put a 2X4 under the side stand.

I have a 2003 Honda VT750DC and my craftsman jack fits under it just fine. It also works great for my other bikes.

I have this model.
