After you convert the files to mp3 type you have to put them in the mp3 player... With the word download you mean either the download procedure from the computer to the mp3 or from the internet to the computer...
If you mean the first one you can move the files from the pc to the mp3 player with windows media player or real player or from a file to the mp3 player destination(open a window with the folder that contain the songs that you want to import and then open a different window that shows the content of the mp3 player). Then select the files that you want to store into the mp3 player and drag them from one window to the other. that should really do the work!
If you mean the second way, you can visit some of the following pages to download music files from the internet to your computer. for example try mp3tunes.com or download kazaa(a download engine for music, videos and images(very good)) from kazaa.com or do the same with limewire from limewire.com
Hope i have helped!

I would use Real player to convert the songs you want into MP3 files then copy them (right click and copy).
Open your MP3 player (start->computer->E:/ or F:/ drive (your MP3 player)) then paste (right click and paste)

Real player can be downloaded free from http://uk.real.com/

I hope that helps :-)
