My husband and I have a little girl named Autumn. What do you think of the name Auburn (if we have another girl)?

I wouldn't use Auburn for 3 reasons: 1) it is too close to Autumn, 2) it's not nearly as warm and charming as Autumn and 3) it ends with the word 'burn' which is an unattractive word, and you want to prevent that possible nickname. I dont think they flow because Auburn sounds harsh and Autumn is elegant.

Other names I think that go well with Autumn:

Meadow
Amber
Sienna
Jade
Summer - this is adorable sibset :)
Sage
Willow
Sierra
Winter
Jasmine
April
My favorite would be Autumn and Amber, Autumn and Sienna, or Autumn and Jasmine.

Like Autumn a lot but as a red-head, not a fan of Auburn...how about Aubrey or Audrey or Aubene?

I love Autumn! Gorgeous name, great job! That said, I really really dislike Auburn. It's my friends last name and she hates it because of the word burn.

I think it's kind of unfair to base your second child's name soley off of your first born's name. But, if you wish to do so, maybe you can consider the name Audrey? It's a pretty name and doesn't sound too close to Autumn.

Good luck to you and your family!

I like Autumn. I think that naming your second child Au.... anything is a little foolish. Plus, I'm not a fan of Auburn as a name. It just isn't that "pretty".

Autumn is a great name, but Auburn is not as nice. I don't like it.

Auburn is a nice name, but too close to Autumn. (As long as you aren't a Crimson Tide fan).

I have a daughter named Molly and one named Maddie. Big mistake. I switch their names around all the time, or worse yet, they get called Mally.

I love the name Autumn, but I don't care for Auburn at all. How about Aubrey, Audrey, Audra, Audrina or something similar?

First, Autumn is absolutely gorgeous. Auburn is a nice name, but it sounds too much like Autumn. How about Aubrey, Audrey, or Audra?

I don't like it. I love the name Autumn. My co-worker has a relative who named her children (twin girls) Autumn and Wynter. So, if you want something similar to Autumn go with the following;

Audrey
Wynter
Raine or Rayne (pronounced rain)
