on ebay i can jsut go though their service and send it, but with a book, do i need a box or can i get one of those bubble things. Please help, also it is a text book, so it is about 3 lbs

Go to the post office. They have lots of boxes in lots of different sizes. You might even find a large heavy-duty envelope that is insulated with bubble wrap. If it looks like you have to use a box, you may want to just bring an old newspaper with you. Then just pad the book into the box with crumpled newspaper balls and ship it off. If you think you will be selling other books, you may just want to buy a roll of bubble wrap and save it. Yes, you can buy rolls of bubble wrap at the post office too.

Depends on how big it is. Either a box or bubble envelope should work. Send it via Media Mail (as it's a book) through the US Postal Service. That's your cheapest and best option.
