Southwest Airlines requires over-sized passengers to purchase 2 seats on their flights. The airlines overcharge for tickets, require you to pay for meals, provide little in the way of amenities during the flight, then charge overwieght customers for 2 seats, even though they only get 1, then turn around and sell the seat again, and they wonder why they are in such financial difficulty.

I don't know if you do or not, but you should have to! I don't feel like I should have someones fat hanging over into my seat making me uncomfortable, and I am overweight myself. Not enough to need another seat, just so you now where my opinion is coming from.

Some airlines do that. Which is a good idea - if you take up two seats, you should have to pay for two seats.

Morbidly obese people serve as an important reminder that it is good to have some self-control and self-respect.

Personally, I think people that are THAT fat should not be allowed to fly. All kinds of weapons and bombs can be tucked into all that fat.
