Yes. Possibly if your MB was produced after 2000 it may have a USB 2.0 as one of the connections, check in your bios. The PCI card would definately be the way to go if you do not have one of the two USB ports as a USB 2.0.

I agree with newegg.com as a good place to purchase, I can also recommend tigerdirect at http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/search.asp?cat=511&keywords=PCI%20cards they are priced from $9 to $25.

Yes, you can. You'll need to purchase a USB 2.0 PCI card and install it on to an open PCI slot on the motherboard. It is incredibly easy to install. Depending on which USB PCI card you install, it will provide several USB 2.0 ports - usually 3 - 5 ports. As for how much it costs, Newegg.com sells several PCI cards ranging from $10 - 30 USD. Take a look on Newegg's website for PCI cards

Yes, buy a USB board I've seen them fr as low as 20 dollars and up depends how many receptacles you want on the board. Then open(unplug the computer first please) the computer and remove the old USB board and the install the new - it takes a screw driver and about five minutes. Then reboot your computer and it should recognize the new ports and off you go.........you may have to install drivers for the new board but they'll come with the new board.

Probably not...check your motherboard's website for USB drivers. See if they have USB 2.0 drivers for your motherboard and if they do, download and install them. If not, it cannot be upgraded.

yes. You need to get a PCI card to do this probably. Check your local hardware vendor. I would imagine that it's relatively cheap
