This thing called Anti-vermins keeps poping up on my computer.. is that software good?? Also is Adaware any good??

no no no... antivermins software is not good. they use spyware which installs itself on a computer and tells computer user to buy their program. think about it, would a legal antispyware program advertise in this malicious way? here's a removal of the adwertising spyware:

Sounds like you have an infestation already. Adaware is a good product and there is a free version to use to get rid of your spyware at lavasoft.com. If you have xp you can get Microsoft's anti-spyware product called Defender. Its a free download from Microsoft.com. Also you can do a free virus scan at Trendmicro.com.

Antivermins is adware and a scam. Do not buy it!

Your computer has a serious infection called Smitfraud, which most stand-alone, general-purpose virus scanners such as Norton and AVG cannot remove or even detect.
Try the above procedure using the specialised tool caled SmitfraudFix.

Nope that popup isn't good because that is spyware. See they are bugging you to try and get you to buy their software(which probably sucks).
They make alot of good programs that are free like Spybot Search & Destory or Microsoft's Defender. For some free anti virus software check out AVG(very good) or Avast(very good too)

Am going to tell you some good protection to get, most internet company's have there own protection that you can get from them free, and then there is protection that you can buy, but if you don't want to pay ,there is a site that i go to called www.download.com and you can get trail v. or free protection like zonealarm i got it installed on my computer right now just its firewall avast home antivirus is realy good ,spyware i use spyware blaster and super antispyware, i havit had to get a thang fixed on my computer in 3 year's

Download and install free AVG Anti-Virus and Spyware. I use this and it's reliable than those paid Anti-virus like Norton or McAfee. You can find and download it from http://www.grisoft.com
