As others have said depends what you want.

Pub crawl, there are loads of old traditional pubs, start off at the ship and mitre in dale street and head up towards the town hall.

The Mathew Street area is full of bars and clubs with loads of really good live bands. Try the grapes or the white star for a good pint.

Queens Square is quite good.

Concert Square is surrounded by good bars, and the roads at the back have plenty to chose from (Rope walks).

Slater St is a bit of a scally hang out but I've not had a problem there.

Further up rope walks you have the tea rooms and some new 'posher' bars.

This is just a taste, I am sure you will have a great time.

The Reflex on Bold Street is fab if you like 80's music. If you want something a bit classier go to the Pan-American down on The Docks. Its a bit more mellow and you get less scallies in there (and no kids)

Try starting in Queen's Square, then go to either Mathew Street or Concert Square. It all depends on what type of music and entertainment you are looking for. You could put more details on your question. Ignore all the idiots saying don't go, i am sure you will have a great time
