Chemical changes
- A change in weight (gain or loss)
- Change in color (generally chemical – though some liquid crystals can change color as a physical change)
- Production of a gas (not including boiling)
- Chnage of heat (more or less heat than you put into the system)
- Signs of decomposition like charring
