The gas incident in NY got me thinking, what would happen if terrorists commit another major attack? I think it would be very bad, it could trigger an Iran invasion or world war.

Not to mention that you and I can kiss all our freedoms goodbye, the country would probably be under martial law.

No doubt it will happen, and no doubt it will be bad. At some point the US population will realize that we are in a major conflict, and if we want to preserve our lives and freedoms, we will have to fight for them.

Just as after 9/11, the American people will talk tough and wave flags for a few weeks. Then, as after 9/11, they will collapse into a state of quivering, media/government fueled paranoia, under which they will surrender more (if not all) of their liberties to promises that they will be more "safe" by doing so and justify any action taken by the government (invading a country that bears no responsibility, etc.) that makes them feel powerful again. This, of course, will lead to more fanaticism and a greater threat in the future. In short, the terrorists will be handed another victory by a population that is no longer able to make the distinction between "victims" and "heroes" or "courage" and "cowardice."

No, North Korea is in simple terms a super mouth blowing warm air. Have they made any threats concerning England or Israel, who could easily help kick their butt , in the event that they have been given humorous suggestions?

I thought 9/11 would have taught America better but we are setting ourselves up for another BIGGER attack I'm afraid. We are letting the PC crowd and pro illegal alien crowd and the ACLU run us. This of course will change WHEN another attack occurs. You think we profile people now? You wait.
