Join the Military so they can take care of all of that for you. If you dont want to die you should probably just join the AF or The Navy. They pay for your food, housing and give you money to spend and if you have kids they will pay you for that too. They also give you all kinds of money for school. Oh yeah, You should probably cancel your internet service.

First of all, email me if you need to talk... My husband and I have had many problems (sounds just like what you are going through) we were separated for a month while I was pregnant, then we got back together, but we still had major problems, and we separated again 2 months after I gave birth to our son. Our financial problems have been tremendous, and I can't find work and adequate child care. We have been living with my parents for a while and that makes everything so much harder. I don't know where you can apply, all I can say is that things will get better for you, somehow, you will figure things out for you and your child. Are you on unemployment or disability? Also look into the Paid Family Leave Act for when your baby arrives.

Does your hometown have a Department of Human Services? Or a Social Services Building through the state? Some where that you could ask for temporary housing assistance or bus passes? I would try your phone book under goverment. If your homeless and do not have a phone book try going to a local restaurant or a shelter they should be able to give you a phone to call around.

Good Luck, your life will get better just be patient and calm and thank god that you have each other everyday. You can still love each other even if you live in a card board box.

If you can sit here idling away precious unproductive hours, well, then you still aren't hungry yet .
Many of us here, I am sure including myself, have had a lot less than you . I never asked for a handout either . No welfare and food stamps . Get yourself out there and work close to home so you can walk to work. My husband got up at 5am in the winter in Buffalo, NY in December and walked for miles in sub zero weather to work .
People like you get my goat . You had no business having a car out there and no insurance. So what happened to the other unlucky party if you had no insurance ?
My idea is you should both have TWO jobs . Alternate if you have kids so you don't need a sitter . Take your computer to the pawn shop and get busy .

Please contact the local red cross and social service department in your area. Also try your local church they also have programs to help the less unfortunate.

1. They can set you up in emergency housing or give you a voucher for that apartment you were trying to rent
2. food stamps
3. Utilities
4. Sometimes provide transportation to and from work for your husband on a temporary basis until he can find other means.
5. Medical

AND PLEASE ... contact your families......When you need help Families need to step up to the plate!

Good Luck

Go to your local church congregation and they may be able to help more than you think.
