got a bag as a gift during the holidays..... but because i don't have a gift receipt or anything- they won't honor an exchange which i think is ridiculously BS. the GUCCI tags are still in the bag and the NEIMAN MARCUS tag is still attached. i havent physically gone to the store but i called just to see if i could get an exchange done before making a trip there.
and the associate on the phone said that they wouldnt do an exchange if I didnt have the receipt. She said most likely they wont do it.

i think your best bet would to actually go to the store and see what they tell you there. i find it odd that they wouldnt exchange the bag for you considering all the tags are intact. i know that nordstroms, with or with out receipt or tags will exchange things for you, therye all about customer satisfaction, and considering neimans is on the upper scale like nordstroms they should do the same. i think if you do go in and explain to them, they will be able to work something out for you.

I would go to the store in person and ask to speak to the manager. Normally they will exchange the bag if all the tags are on it.
