Eventually she's going to be too big for the playpen, and she'll HAVE to sleep in her crib. The longer she's in the pack and play, the harder it will be to switch over to the crib.
You need to just put her in her crib, and leave her there. If she cries, it's just because she's getting used to the crib. She's not sad, she's not angry, she's just adjusting. Maybe start putting her in her crib for naps and once she gets used to that start putting her in it at night for bed.
Maybe let her fall asleep in the pack and play and (if you can) put her in her crib after she falls asleep.

Move the pack and play into her bedroom and make the transition slowly, but consistently. Start with naps then go in every time she wakes ups in the middle of night to reassure her. Maybe she doesn't like the mattress. Make sure she has the same blankets and whatnots in the crib that are in the pack and play. Just be consistent and make the transition slow. It will work, I've done it 3 times! Good luck.

Well when I was a baby I didn't sleep in my crib either. Maybe the pack and play is more comfortable.

Why don't you try putting the pack n play in her room to get her used to being in there. I would also try putting the mattress from her pack n play (assuming it is about the same size as your crib mattress) into her crib to get her used to sleeping a little higher but on a familiar surface.

She is probably used to the smell of the pack & play. The bottom should be removable -- if so, place it in the crib for awhile. She will get used to the other smells in the room and slowly you can remove it completely. Good luck!.

Let her cry it out. Put her in her crib, when she wakes up she'll probably cry and eventually she will cry herself back to sleep. It took my 6 month daughter 1 night. When she was 6 weeks old her father said "It's time for her to get in her own bed". I begged and pleaded a few more months. He took her and put her in her crib and closed the door. She cried and cried. She cried for 45 mins. straight and it hurt me so bad not to go in there and get her. The next night she went right to sleep and has been sleeping in her crib every since and sleeps through the night and never wakes up until I wake her up at 6am.

I don;t see any reason to stop using the pack n' play if it works. It works the same as a crib.

I would just keep using the play pen,if that's what your baby prefers. but if you want to switch, start by keeping her in the play pen, but put it right next to her crib. then put her in her crib just for naps during the day, and slowly try to make the transition to night time. it may take some time, but your baby will adjust.

She probably senses that you are not very close if she's in her own room. Listen, my son is 16 months old and he sleeps with me every night. I don't mind because it's important for me to let him feel safe and secure. I hope in time he will sleep in his own bed.
