Exactly where are you standing when you pour said honey into your hat? If you are in an area indigenous to bears, I would say that might have a good chance at making a (big) furry friend.
However, if you are hanging out in the middle of the interstate during rush hour, the only thing you are probably going to attract is someone with a fetish or honking horns. :)
