They usually say its not a good idea because it could seap into your bloodstream and be passed on to the baby. I think you can use natural hair dye like food coloring or henna, they are non-toxic and have no risks of hurting the baby. Try the website below.

Some people will say yes, some people will say no. I asked my ob-gyn and he said no unless your hair looks so bad that you won't leave your house. I got my hair foiled at about 3 1/2 months since it looked horrible. Now that I'm 8 1/2 months my roots look horrible again but I'm just leaving it until after the baby's born.

No its not. Sure there are lots of women that do it, but its like playing russian roulett. 5 out of 6 people play the game with no problem but that sixth one gets a really big hole in the head. You have to ask yourself ... is it worth the possibility of your child getting a birth defect just so you can have your hair a certain color.

i asked about this one 2. the doc told me that it is fine as long as you don't leave the hair dye on the scalp too long. she said highlights are best b/c it doesn't actually touch teh scalp and not to get it done in a salon b/c of all the fumes (from the dye and other things like nail polish and perms). good luck

The dcotors say it is not a ggod idea to die your hair when you are pregnant. I don't know why the reason is but they say that the baby could inhale the fumes or the pores in your hair goes to the blood stream.

It's a chemical & it goes into your system, doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
I have Lupus & the dr. told me it's one of the worst things for people with a life long condition because of the chemicals.
I wouldn't do it, you can wait for a healthy baby then do what you want unless you plan on breast feeding.
