i am 23 days late..i already went to the doctor and took a urine test the result was negative. My breast are very heavy and fuller, my nipples hurt and are becoming darker, there was a time when my period was about to come because the cramps were so strong but never came..that was 2 weeks ago..i still have cramps but they are very small and do not bother me..i am also bloated..get very tired and sleepy..my mother keeps telling me that i look pregnant to her..well my question is this..has anybody experienced getting negative urine test results and still be pregnant? Thank you very much in advance. :)

You should buy a home pregnancy test. Believe it or not the urine tests at the doctors office often require a higher amount of HCG to give a positive reading than the tests you buy at the store. If that is still negative, go get a blood test. A blood test can show a pregnancy as soon as a week after conception. check out this website for alot of interesting info

It's pretty common to get a negative urine test, since it's the same as a HPT, it only detects the HCG hormone. When you took the urine test, had it been at least two weeks after your missed period? If not, take one again or see your doctor for a blood test. 23 days is a long time to be late and not be pregnant. Best of luck!

It is possible that you could still be pregnant. My mother wasn't confirmed that she was pregnant with me until 4.5 months into the pregnancy because all the tests kept coming up negative and they didn't do an ultrasound because they thought she really wasn't pregnant! You are having pregnancy symptoms. Get a blood test done and good luck!

I only got one negative tested a week later and got a positive. Go get a blood test with your doctor maybe you dont have enough hormone yet to detect with a urine test.

sometimes it could be too early to tell if you are pregnant with a urine test. If you don't get your period in 3 weeks go and get a blood test done!

Ask for a blood test. I am about 9 weeks pregnant and the cramps and nipple pain is exactly what I had.

you should ask for a blood test. sometimes it can take up to 4 weeks or more for a urine test to be positive, that's only in some cases, and you might be one of them.

get another test done... there might have been a flaw in the first one. if it still comes back negative then talk to your doctor about it.
