Along with the laptop I ordered from Dell, I obtained this item, not fully recognizing what it does:

Bluetooth Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal (2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate)

Can anybody provide me insight as to what this is, and what I can use it for? I tried using wikipedia and I still didn't get it. Hopefully someone who actually has this can tell me how it's used and what it's used for.

Thank you in advance.

Bluetooth is a wireless connection based on the same frequency as the wireless internet (2.4GHz), but transmit/receive distance is far less than wireless internet (about 50 - 60 feet).
it can be used for a connection with all Bluetooth capable devices like cell phones, keyboard, mouse etc.
