i want to have a radio at work, but where i am i cannot pick up any signal. will a DAB radio be able to pick the stations up?
I just don't want to purchase one to find it was a waste of money.

It all depends on whre you are. Some places can and otehrs can't.

Can you get a normal fm signal near where you are? It could be the building you are in shielding the signal. If it is then you need an external area,

DAB is not as great as it is made out to be.
I can pick up most stations and sometimes the signal just drops out, i have to turn the radio off then back on again.
And this is the wonderful system that people will be paying more for when the analogue signal is done away with (concerning Tv licence tax).
As usual..we will be payng MORE and getting LESS.

dab radios are useless i live in the country and bought one as i had the same problem...i did get a refund

No. But if you can't get a digital signal anywhere, you can still get an FM one normally.

going by the one I had bought me as a present
this christmas....it is working good ..no interference..and picks up every station ..with no interference..I am really pleased...
