Absolutely. About 4 days to as much as a week before your period you'll notice you have bloating, which everytime I start thinking I gained 5 pounds over night and start flipping out, then I start my period and I'm like "oh, whew"
Anyways, it is water weight actually, for some reason we tend to retain water, thats why they say to try to keep from eating salty foods, anything high in sodium and caffine, plus we tend to eat twice as much as we normally would when its that time of the month. Not to worry though, I did some research, and because your hormones are raging mad around that special time we all love, our body temperature rises (thats why we experience hot flash like things or tend to just feel really hot) and so does our metabolism so we can take in almost double the amount of calories we normally would and three to four days after our periodds have started we'll be back to our normal weight. It also said you can gain up to 15 pounds due to your period, but will immediatly see a drop as soon as the flow begins. so no worries, the weight you lost won't be back until next month.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

The same thing happens to me. the weight comes back when your period starts. I usually lose 2-3 pounds 2 days after my period starts.
