...and everything went well. However, when I wanted to launch it it says "Error, please insert correct CD-ROM". I get that with a few other games I've installed on my laptop as well (I have a cd/dvd combo drive). I'm not a comp expert so I just need to know if there's anything wrong with my laptop or could it be there's something wrong with my cd-rom? But surely not so many!

(I know, Sims 2 is a bit old by now but finally got around to purchasing it!)

you does not ought to reinstall the game to position in expansions packs. i don't believe of you'll desire the disc both. I easily have The Sims 2 and each of the expansions, and that i do not keep in thoughts wanting the significant disc. in case you extremely favor to have it, wait till The Sims 3 comes out. The Sims 2 might want to drop in fee then.
