His dad.. He's quiet and doesn't bother me. His mother on the other hand will keep me on the phone for hours. I'm busy! I do not like the phone and I do not like her! She has nothing to talk about except stupid redneck crap. She's crazy. She invited herself to stay at our house on our wedding night! I didn't let that happen of course. Thank God his parents are divorced and she can't really afford to come visit us! I know it sounds mean but she really is a nut case.

It is hard to get along with in-laws, even though I don't have a wife/husband, I know that trying to act like a family to someone who is not blood related is difficult! Try your best though is all you can do and if it doesn't work, at least you have your husband/wife to love =D

I get along with all 3 of them. His mom is great. His dad and step mom are all way willing to help with what ever we need. I thank you have to be able to let things go. Just remember you get to go home. Don't get mad if they say things crappy. Remember that you love your husband or wife and it really does not matter what their mother or father say. Be nice to them. It makes life easier. Why fight with them It makes you out to be the bad person.

My husband gets along with my parents better than his own family. We stay with my family when we come into town, and when he makes the trip out there alone he will still stay at my parent's home rather than his parent's home.

Both my in-laws are deceased but I wish I could have met them as stories I've heard from my fiance and her brother regarding their parents sound like I would have liked them both. As much as people complain often of their in-laws they are lucky to have them in their and their children's life.

My husbands father. He does not say much. He is always kind to me and my daughter. My husbands mom is a snob towards me.
