Do you think she should receive best actress or best supporting actress? I believe it should be supporting because I went and saw the movie and she barely talked, Jennifer Hudson stole the show. That movie was mostly about her character, not Beyonce's. Ioved Jennifer Hudson in the movie and that girl can sing! she gave me chills! What is everyone who saw it overall opinion about the movie? To me, it wasn't what i thought it would be with all the hype and publicity...but it was okay, not oscar nominee worthy though, but I think for it to be Jenn Hudson first movie, she was awesome at acting and singing.

OMG - FINALLY someone who is thinking on the same page as me!
Beyonce totally does not deserve a Best Actress nod for Dreamgirls. She barely had any speaking lines. All she did was ooh and ahh and look pretty.
Now Jennifer Hudson on the other hand - for her first feature role, I was completely blown away. I knew she was going to be phenomenal in that role. I was also very impressed with Eddie Murphy as well. Singing has come a long way since Party All The Time.
Dreamgirls is Oscar Worthy. If not for acting, the music and definetly the costumes.

I 100% totally agree with you. I was very upset after watching that movie that beyonce was nominated for best actress...I did not feel that her character was the leading actress in the movie and I also do not believe that her acting was anything compared to Jennifer Hudsons and the other girls as well (Sorry I forget her name). I will be upset if she wins best actress and Jennifer does not win best supporting because Jennifer truly deserves to win. It was a FANTASTIC movie!!

in my point of veiw she did not do so well in that movie well she can not act at all maybe she should stick to singing.
