okay, so i have been looking for a handbag that can carry a few books, and i saw one at Forever 21, and i also saw this one

Yeah the shape is a guarantee of ripping with that material, look for a laptop bag... they're heavy duty and can be really cute. Bestbuy has cute ones in store but I couldnt find any of the ones I liked online when I looked.

I have a suggestion or two. If you want a great selection of handbags, check out Macy's or JCPenny. They are the two stores with the biggest selection of handbags I've seen. You could also try Boscov's if you have one nearby your house. They also have a wide variety of handbags - big and small. Good luck.

What about a chanel bag?? they are expensive but you can get knock offs that look just as nice.. you can also get things in hollister, abercrombie, and american eagle that people use as backpacks.. they're nottoo big.. but they definetly fit a lot of things in them. I actually have both.. the chanel & one from american eagle.. so ttry out a bunch of stores.. you're bound to find something.. they sell knock offs in NYC.. but idk where you live so.. yeah.. but try flea markets they usualyy have stuff there.. if you live onlong island.. go to cotton caper in moriches.. =]

Well, it's certainly a practical size. As for if it's fashionable, I'm no help there - my handbag is a backpack.

yeah it's cute. but also keep in mind that with books in a tote bag like that, the shape will look boxy and weird.

Ya no pink depending how old you are, but I would go with a khaki or dark green one. Or even better yet Black b/c it goes with anything. Muha!
