He's a good speaker. That's all that matters.

He's a fresh face, and he seems to have avoided much of the partisanship and negativity of the past few years. I also think many Americans of all races would like a chance to elect a black president.

All I know is that he is relatively inexperienced and apparently too liberal for my liking. And yes, the media is making too much of him now.

He has plenty of time to grow and learn. If he's of good character he could go far.

Time will tell.

His appeal is that he is a clean slate...he's so new to government that he has no track record for corruption and extremist leanings. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen, but that is why so many Dems are pinning their hopes on him...he doesn't come with any baggage...unlike Hillary for instance.

Well, global warming is inevitable. It's not like you have a choice on that one.

Perhaps it would help if you googled his name and read up on him, his background, education, accomplishments and voting record. Then you could answer your own question.

Obviously huge numbers of people of all ages, races, genders and religious affiliations have taken to him judging by the outpouring of support he receives everywhere he goes.
