That's not true. If you have the money to buy a Ferrari I'm sure you can hire a professional to take you out to the track and he could teach you some good driving techniques. That would be alot of fun to learn some pointers from a professional driver that knows all about and drives a Ferrari or even races. Have fun !!!

The ONLY cars that Ferrari restricted original (new) ownership on was the Enzo. These were sold only to VERY select few, and ONLY if you were already a Ferrari owner AND Ferrari thought you were 'worthy' of the honour.
But you could buy a used Enzo...it's just that nobody will ever sell theirs!

Codswallop!
If you have the cash then you can drive away in one on the day you pass your test! (or even before probably)
Your friend would probably get on very well with a friend of mine.
He swears blind that all Ferraris are painted red in the factory. If a customer then orders a different colour, then they take it back into the factory and respray it!
Please - someone put me out of my misery!

Dont be a pillock, you are letting the west country down with stupid questions, you just need the money to buy a new Ferrari, then it gets expensive as the engine has to come out every 10 K miles to change the cam belts, 20 hours at £120 hour plus parts..... My neighbour has one as a second or fourth car, it does his back in every time he drives it. get a TVR.

No but you should have been driving a while before buying one, just because of the speed and trying to get used to how low down you are!
Before you get one sit in the middle of the road on the high street, near buses and trucks is best, this way you will see how low you are going to be in your new car :)
Also your friend does not deserve to get in one, they are too stoopid - lol

That very well may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you have the money you think the Ferrari dealer is not going to take it?

You really need to find a better class of friends. If you just fell off the turnip truck, but have the cash in pocket to afford it, you can buy one.
Added: Just happened to think of this. Tell your friend to NOT vote in the upcoming elections.
