No,but some have been made of ceramic so we are getting closer!Haven't you seen those car commercials where they show the interior of an engine while in motion?well that's pretty much what it looks like.

no the engine gets too hot and the glass would break and the glass couldnt stand the baeting the engine delivers plus it would be dirty in just a few seconds so you couldnt see anyway

No problem, they will have one just as soon as someone invents glass that will stand the pressures of the compression and power stroke, and the heat of the exhaust.

If you had an electric motor turning it, yes.
If you were to rely on the engine's combustion to turn it, no!
For just a static display piece, it could be done.

They do make see through models the really work, at toy stores and Ebay :)
they used to make see through valve covers and distributor caps years ago at J.C. Whitney, try ebay

They make a functional V8 clear plastic model that you can put together yourself .....and doing so would help you learn how a engine operates. i suggest that you check your local hobby shop for it......I hope this helped
