Yes. When he died, his estate was only worth $4 million and Prisilla turned into a $100 million+ empire! Again, she's not giving away homes and Cadillacs like Elvis did.....

Elvis Presley Gets His Own Reese's Cup
Posted Dec 4th 2006 3:01PM by David Sprague

With the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death fast approaching, we can't imagine a better way to pay tribute than by scarfing down a bellyful of the sort of chow that helped make the King such a big star.
To make it easier to do just that, the folks at Hershey's have decided to commemorate Elvis's shuffling off this mortal coil by marketing a limited-edition Peanut Butter and Banana Reese's Cup -- a treat that manages to make Presley's beloved fried PB-and-'nana sandwiches seem like health food. Taking a tip from the postal service, which honored Elvis on a sadly unflavored stamp some years back, the sweet-mongers have chosen to festoon their product with an image of a skinny, hip-swiveling version of the singer, rather than one depicting him in all his corpulent '70s glory.
So perhaps his favorite sandwich will be better known dead than alive! The King lives on!!!

more so dead...pretty much because he was losing his fame when he did die. But by dieing he didn't fade away like most old musicians..the road he was on he would be out of mind in no time for any new prospective fans. He was overweight, unhealthy and a drug addict. No one is a fan of the later years of Elvis.

I think, he was a God to his fans when he was alive, much more famous. However, I think the Elvis Presley enterprise is much more profitable today than it was then.

Absolutely!! Glad to read that. Isn't it sickening sometimes? When you read or see a bio about the guy, he was clearly hooked on all the pills that were made (they should have hanged his doctor) crazy as a loon, and I am even amazed that women thought he was sexy!! He was a grease ball to me. Yes, he is an iconoclast. It's too weird!! How about the ones that wanted to believe he FAKED it and walked off? Guess that's over because he'd be so old now. Very weird group.
