You could be shaking and sweating because you have an infection. These kind of infections are VERY serious. You must seek hepl immediately. If you absolutely cannot go to the emergency room then I would recommend soaking in some epsom salts (very warm water) for about 20 minutes and then cleansing your wound with half strength peroxide and keep it dry and open to air as much as possible. As far as pain goes the best thing you can take over the counter is two extra strength Tylenol (generic acetaminophen) and two Ibuprofen or Motrin together about every four hours. Do not take more than six extra strength Tylenol in a 24 hr. time period.

Get some epsom salts and hydrogen peroxide. Soak the wound in epsom salt and hot water, dry it off and then douse it good with hydrogen peroxide. But if you are smart, go to the emergency room, cause you might die if it's not treated properly.

There is a decent chance that there is a tooth that is cracked. It is very hard to find out if and what tooth is cracked--even endodontists have trouble. Cracked teeth are the bane of dentists for that reason. If the tooth is cracked it will depend on where the crack is on whether it can be fixed with a crown with or without a root canal. If it gets worse or you feel part of your tooth loosen, call back.

There are many places that will see you without insurance, you will probably have to call around and ask. The hospital should see you no matter what. Alot of hospitals are non-profit and they have to see you by law no matter you insurance status or income level.
You should see someone ASAP. It sounds seriously infected, maybe staff, and those can be fatal if left untreated.

Try to see a Dr. right away. If you can't see anyone drink lots of fluids to try to get the drugs out of your system as fast as possible. Did they say anything about soaking in as hot of water as possible? usually when something is lanced like that in that area they want you to soak in a tub of hot(not burning hot but comfortable) water. Good luck.
