Vigilante groups ! Is it the coming ?

I think soon there will be a vigalanti group throughout the UK and other countries, who are sick and tired of putting up with the constant worries arround our town and homes in regards of asbo, drug related problems such as muggings, burgalry, people getting let of with a slap on the wrist for causing mayhem in respect of a 100 or so crimes.Rapists who are let out early, murders of innocent people whos families have had their lifes destroyed and who are made to suffer all there lifes, when some of these poeple are let out of jail early.Peodophiles who are alowed to keep annonamous and have round the clock protection at our costs (the tax payer) .
What do you think GOOD or BAD idea ! yes i i understand its taking law into your own hands,
But give an honest oppinion
Do you think people will set up these groups as a buisness

I understand where you are coming from - but I don't think vigilante groups are the way to solve it. Too many people would use it is an excuse to be violent towards other people.

I think the laws need to be tighter and the sentences and jails tougher. At the moment you would spend more time in prison if you robbed a bank then if you assaulted someone.

We are supposed to have one of the best legal systems in the world - it just doesn't always seem like it.

Vigilantism is not the answer, at least not in the way that you imply. There is already something similar to what you describe as a vigilante business it is called a protection racket.

What we do need is some strong willed characters who are not frightened to stand up for what they believe in, most of the trouble is caused by youths who think that they are untouchable by the law. Because the law wont deal with them, direct action will I know this through practical application.

Drug users and sellers are everywhere, as long as this continues society will never get a proper chance to recover. Kids glamorise knife and gun culture it is only a matter of time until we get a major incident in one of our schools.

The refusal of of other cultures to integrate into our way of life has meant that the politically correct brigade has slowly but surely tried to condemn the core values that it means to be English and even tried to make the term English a racist word.

Until such time as the law starts to do its job properly I will do my bit for law & order, do you have the backbone to do yours?

I think it could happen if all law enforcement failed. It owuld take something big, however, to see it happen. As a business, well, it is done in security services at the mo, but it would prolly be one run by big crime orgaizations warring with legitimate ones, and the lot of the rest in the middle.

There are already a few around - & there are also "bounty hunters" who will go a step further, if someone has really upset you. It would be a great business, seeing as how the police can't seem to protect us, but you would have to be extremely careful, you didn't get caught.
