My favorite is the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals. They are a team steeped in tradition, and have won more World Series titles than any other team in the National league. Only the Yankees have more victories. I like them because every year they lose some players, gain a few more, and are always in contention (at least for the last 10 years or so). Also, they have the best player in baseball - Albert Pujols!

New York Mets The new York Mets use to be the old New York Yankees. Back in the 50 when New York had the Giants, Yankees, and Dodgers. The Yankees with Casey Stangle Yogi Bera and the rest of the team moved to Shea stadium and became the New York Mets The Dodgers moved to Los Angelas, the Giants moved to San Francisco

Cubs
I love fans who say they love their teams because they win championships. I love the Cubs because my dad is a Cub fan and my grandpa and is a Cub fan. I was raised a Cub fan, and grew up listening to Harry Carey on TV...he is one of my earliest memories as a Cub fan. Yah all of us has never seen a Cub World Series win, but we remain loyal and watch our team whether we're on top or 40 games under .500. The Cubs are a very traditional franchise. We don't bulldoze and rebuild a new stadium every 15 years. We keep everything old school. We still got an old manual scoreboard. There are no fireworks are shiny flashy screens that show highlights. Several fans still show up at the ballpark and keep score using a scorecard. I like the fact that even though technology is enhancing the baseball game experience, the Cubs don't get as caught up in it as other teams do.

St Louis Cardinals!!!
In this age of "small market" teams not being able to compete, the Cardinals put people in the seats every year, and a have a good team most of the time. Since MLB has went to its current 3 division alignment, St Louis has won the division out 6 out of 9 yearsand are 33-28 in the postseason during that time. They have the most word championships in the National League (10), as well as the most NL Pennants (17).

I Love the HOUSTON ASTROS!!!! I have been in love with them since I was about 10 years old! I used to have all of their pictures all over my room when I was a kid!! I even have a Houston Astros room in my home now!I love them because they are my hometown team and have done Houston Proud!! They have kept Houston on the edge of our seats season after season and, just when people start counting them out (not ME but other so called fans)they do something to get Houston excited again.
My experiences with the players while obtaining autographs has always been wonderful! They truly are the most compassionate and decent men in the MLB. Never a vulgar word, never a steroid issue, no cheaters, just true baseball players that are real examples of how other professional players should be!! That is why I LOVE THE HOUSTON ASTROS!!!!

i might want to assert the Detroit Tigers, I loved listening to them or perhaps as Ernie Harwell did the video games he spoke not something inspite of the indisputable fact that the truth of baseball and he change into the nicely ideal announcer each person might want to have had. I also say that the Tigers are taking area in now to not shabby and considering the 80 4 Tigers we've had a good communities. Jim Leyland is a superb coach and that i wish they don't get rid of him for a lengthy time period.

The San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays, And Milwaukee Brewers. For me, I like going for the underdogs, and in this case, all of these teams are subsequently getting better, And are all contenders for their divison titles and/or Playoff spots. So i hope that this is a good enough answer to not get a low enogh rating to get blocked.

Houston Astros, they're my hometown team, and I am a firm believer in backing the team you grew up around. I guess I am a little old fashioned, but it is too easy to jump on some one's band wagon when the are winning, or their owner spends a lot of money. The Astros are going to be just as bad this year as they were last year, but hey, at least you know what you are getting!
GO 'STROS!

Cincinnati Reds. My best friend in 1972, was a Reds fan, and since I really didn't have a favorite at the time, I latched on to his favorite. I tell folks I've been a Reds fan ever since I could say Johnny Bench. That's probably a bit of a stretch, but not by much.

HOUSTON ASTROS!
The team has great heart and good mix of up and coming players and seasoned veterans. The pitching staff is led by Roy Oswalt, who in my opinion, gets slighted every year for the Cy Young Award. He's just awesome to watch. They've got Craig Biggio -- future hall of famer... one of the best defensive catchers in the game, Ausmus... a great slugger, Berkman... Ensberg at 3rd has great potential, as was seen before his injury... Luke Scott had such a phenomenal first year, you've just got to wonder what he can do this year... and tons of other support, including manager Phil Garner. Go 'Stros!!
