I am currently in a dead end job. I get great experience but the office I work in is not run professionally and I make $10 an hour. I have a degree in Public Relations and Political Science. What can I do with this degree? I have some great internships experiences that equal out to about 2 years total for relevant exp. I have been at this job for about 10 months now and i want out! THere is no room for growth and my position is funded so there is no hope for a raise. Any suggestions?

Money doesnt matter much to me, but I want to make enough to move out of my parents home. HELP!!

Try looking at companies you want to work for & applying directly to their site. Try community colleges & school districts (you could actually be a substitute teacher with a BA/BS)
Look for jobs at these sites:

You need to submit your resume to anything with even a possible business or political outlook. You could be working for any number of coutries that have overseas branches and you could also be working in any number of political offices from a mayor on up to the presidency. What I would do in your situation is start looking online or in the papers for jobs that relate to your specific degree.

NOTHING (much) like the rest of us!

Why not use the discipline that you have had to obtain while in university and do your own thing!

This is a huge problem. The whole employment thing is changing yet people continue to look externally as opposed to internally for a solution.

You might want to check out www.4xultimategold.com and see if this is something that you wouldn't mind doing and sharing with others as well.

Self reliance. You have it use it!

with PR you can apply to insurance firms, medical offices, big corporations. there are so many options for PR majors that give opportunities to move forward, you just have to choose the right company, and in some cases, the right area. Big cities like NYC, LA or San Francisco offer better opportunities b/c of the area, but just research different companies and find one you like.
