They can often be used to your advantage- just think about what you say before you talk to them. But if want to let a lot of people know something- they are the ticket. Also, they always have the scoop. Unfortunately, they do have a way of turning the knife on you as soon as you turn around. They're like poisonous snakes- they do serve a purpose, but you had better know what you are dealing with!! I think most people are a little nosey- but you always hear more the less you talk.

No, I can't stand nosy people, I like to mind my business and I don't like others that think they have the right to mind my business.

They can be very useful for finding out information that you are too busy or lazy to get yourself. They can also be very amusing if you tell them some outrageous lie and watch them embarrass themselves spreading it.
