A question about paranormal activities?

Okay, I guess to start I will preface the situation. About 7 months ago I moved into a condo that I bought. The condo is in what used to be an old Bethlehem Steel building in Bethlehem, PA. The building dates back to the early 1900's. While converting this building they did have a death. A worker fell off a ladder while doing some work on my neighboring balcony. I knew about this and didn't think much about it because in all honesty I do not typically think about ghosts and paranormal events. I would say about 2 months after moving in I would here what sounded to be loud walking. It would wake me out of a dead sleep so at first I thought I was just dreaming. After this happened about three more times I began to be curious. There were a few strange things. One being that I could never pinpoint where it was coming from. It sounded as if it were above me but that was impossible because I am on the highest floor. All that is above me is the roof. I thought maybe it was the hallway but it is carpeted and after hearing many people walk down the hall the sound never matched. Also the time was strange. This ALWAYS happened at around 3:45 am. I thought maybe it was H/VAC or something but I never heard the noise otherwise. This all went away for months. I never heard it and quite frankly I kind of forgot about it. On Friday night/ Saturday morning I was sound asleep when my girlfriend woke me up and said "Their is someone in the house". I said there can't be anyone in the house (Lehigh Riverport is very secure, plus I am in an interior unit where the balcony overlooks a courtyard. It is impossible to get into unless you live there). She said no not someone like that. I was very confused and kind of fell back to sleep. She woke me up at about 8 am and said she couldn't sleep and wanted to tell me what happened. She went on to say that she had seen what appeared to be a man. She said nothing was distinct about him excpet for his shirt which appeared to be blue and white stripes, like a polo. She said that she could not see his face but noticed that his arms were a darker complexion. She also sensed that he could tell that she saw him. She said she slowly reached for her cellphone and looked at the time and it said 3:46 am. While she was doing that (this was all within 10 seconds) she said the spirit would move around the edge of the bed, getting closer to her. Not in a menacing way but more out of curiousity? Then it just dissipated. One thing I remember is my cat acting in a strange manner. Something that continued into last night. She was running around playing all night long. Something that she never does. Also, the night of the sighting my brand new LCD television went. This was before the sighting but within 2 hours. We also have a close friend who is a neighbor that says she has had some weird occurances that happen in the 3:45 am time range. Obviously we are a bit freaked out and just want to maybe get some answers or something from other people who have experienced this sort of thing. Here is the fellows name who passed. The soul of the person who got killed in your building has become stuck to the earth plane and not moved on for some reason. Sometimes this happens when there is sudden death. There's more to it but I won't go into it here. As he showed himself to you - its probably up to you to get him some help. However, don't attempt anything on your own and don't ignore it. And its not demons or anything sinister as that, I'm almost sure of it. There are people whose job it is to help such souls to the light. A good place to start is to ask in a local New Age or esoteric shop, they should be able to direct you to someone who deals with these things.

Ghost are demons, demons can take any form, I do not think a God, being almighty would, let the dead hang around, even if they had unfinished business to attend to. Demons are fallen angels and have the same power as Angels do. They like to inhabit places were a traumatic event took place. This is called a territorial stronghold. Usually called hauntings. "Stronghold" Greek strong's fortress, or prison-fortified place. 2 Cor 10:3-5. Remember the story of the Gergesene Demoniacs in Matt 8:28-34. (Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39) If you’re not religious, you may want to read it. This territory had a stronghold of demons over it, not to mention one man (Personal stronghold-possession) who had a legion of demons in him. Mark 5:9. Jesus freed the man, and in so doing freed the territory of its stronghold/haunting. When the demons went into the swine, the demons did not like the swine, so they drown the swine, this also killed the pigs that the Pagan worshippers used to sacrifice to their God's and killed that business off as well. Jesus healed the land and killed the Pagan worshipping (they used the pigs to sacrifice for food for their god’s) business for a time. My point is, demons are Ghosts and dead people are not.

Well I've experinced similar things but only in winter, On December 21st 2004 10:30 PM me and my friend were walking by a field and we saw a man walking and he stopped and looked at us and started mumbling at us, we asked if he needed A help because he looked injured after a minute he said something and vanished into thin air.

My friends Apartment complex is also haunted, something there always happens during the winter.

in an upstairs empty apartment(above his) , we heard walking and went to investigate, so we went up there, door was unlocked so we checked everywhere in the house, the bathroom door was closed so we tried to open it but it was being pulled shut so me and him tried still no budge, then we went downstairs, then a bunch of our friends were there with us so we heard a loud boom upstairs, so we went up there and all the doors that were open were closed, so I went to the bathroom door and it open as I turned the knob, so we all checked the rooms in then we went into this bedroom and the closet was closed so I opened it and it I felt a hand on my chest that mush me into the wall, busting the dry wall, there was nobody in the closet because I looked right before I ran, it was pretty freaky.

This all happened in the winter.

Stars shines even during the day, but the solar light field cover them. So in my opinion ghosts are around us even in daytime, but the glow of the light make them invisible and mundane thoughts and cares use all our insight for them.
In your case, it is a question on what was seen.
There are levels of reality perception through the vision sense.
At first is the so called VERIDIC PERCEPTION ,which could be seen by another people too, and objectified by a photo or video camera.
Next are DREAM – LIKE VISIONS , from dream – like states of mind, which can be seen only by the dreamer.
HALUCINATIONS are inner productions projected outside and could be seen only by the producer too, and sometimes by onlookers very close to him with which the producer can exchange the mind content.
VISIONS are outer events seen by the recipient but not recorded by the video camera or other today gadget. The reason is that the sensors and image processor of the man , and of your cat too, are by far more sophisticated and able to do that.
I am a physicist, but a fundamentalist one. I mean that all from above are real and veridic.
In my opinion what you, the girl friend and the neighbour experienced is a part of a vision.
As it is not a sound theory about this yet, it is empirically ascribed to the realm of the dead. But in many other cultural settings, namely the traditional japanese and at the mexican indians, the spirits of living persons might enjoy an outer walk too if the owner is asleep and even awake.
So, you do not have to think that it is the ghost of the dead constructor, until you are more sure about it.
In the Middle Age, the common wisdom was more able to accept that as real. So if a ghost appeared , it was asked “ Who are you , and what do you want ? Why did you came out here ?”. The ghost sometimes accepted the dialogue , sometimes not.For that, see Shakespeare, Hamlet, act 1.
It is normal and proved as a fact that these apparitions are accompanied by weird feelings of fear, most of time organical fear, sensed with the skin and muskles, from that, the reaction of your cat. But as far as I know, a ghost did not any harm directly, to anybody, ever. So the fear is not justified and can be controlled.
Ghosts are not percieved by anybody,so you and your girlfriend are blessed to see it.
To be able to observe a ghost, discretion of the inquiry is a must.
They do not like to be stared at. You must do it with the corner of the eye and for a short time and by balancing your eyes around.
As these beings seems to be like us, they might have similar feelings and sense your feelings too. A friendly attitude might convey friendship too, from him.
It seems that for unknown reasons he considers your apartment as his domain and is intrigued by your presence in it. Think that coming home one evening you would see you apartment used by another unknown people, how would you feel. So he might be intrigued by your presence there, as you are, because of him.
It is evanescent, you cannot fight with it with ordinary means, so you will need, or to change dwelling or to accept him not as a visitor, but as a co owner. This thought will appease him and he will try to disturb you less then before.
I am a ghost hunter for a very long time and I am a little jealous upon you, that you have such a privilege.
What you might do is to acquire some sound and video recording devices and make them run during the night. If they record nothing, then it is, as I said, a vision. If they do, you might sell these records to media or to research workers in the field. I am several thousands miles away, but I will try to visity you, perhaps I will send my own spirit there one night, with your permision, of course. I am a remote viewer I can do it.

Lisa Williams is a well known Psychic/Medium who recently had a program on WE TV channel and it was produced by Merv Griffin. I've seen her on TV doing readings and also visiting "ghostly" premises where she very accurately finds the cause of the extra-ordinary occurrences. I think you should do more reserach on the person and find out where he is buried, also get a psychic or a person sensitive to paranormal activities as amedium that he/she can ask him what is his business and why he is hanging around the area..what unfinished business does he have...a seanse might helpp too...the spirit does not seem to be a bad one..it is probably confused..

Next time tell him ''What in the name of Jesus Christ are you doing here'' i was told that by a minister who helped me in a similar situation. It worked.
