The intel wasn't faulty. The cherry picking was...
Repubs don't care about the truth for it is nowhere in them. They will lie, cheat, and steal in the name of money and power.
and what Count Acumen said below....

These questions always bring out interesting answers!
The answer about the Polish was interesting. They found the remnants of chemical weapons, and those are not considered WMD's
Maybe we should go back and re-learn what WMD's are.
And instead of throwing out false emotional statements, "he already admitted to it fools." Why don't you provide the proof of your claim. You wouldn't come across like such an emotional idiot...
The truth is that bush could have used better judgement toward the suspect intelligence, but choose not to. For whatever reason, we don't know.
There's a difference between out and out lying, and making claims based on a lack of understanding. Take his "Well, it's Over!" comment he made to the troops when Saddam was found. Was he lying, or just not understanding the situation?
You ask, "Why Republicans still think Bush NEVER LIED about wmd?"
It's entirely possible that bush had it in for saddam, and he allowed this to sway his thinking regarding the suspect intelligence?
I am neither democrat or republican, but try to form my opinions based on what I read, and what I hear. I have no respect for either party.
But to answer your question, a rather strong case can be made that he didn't lie, and therefore, why would repubicans (or democrats, for that matter) think that he did?

Yes, indeed, Bush had access to the same information that Clinton & the rest of the world had. The difference is that Bush acted on it & Clinton did not. Bush wanted to believe that Iraq had WMDs so that he could invade. Even before the war, there was much evidence that equipment to be used for WMD development was either dual-use (which is legal) or non-existant, as in "yellow cake."
The link between 9/11, Iraq and Al-Qaeda was problematic at best. The Weekly Standard published a list of over 50 links between Al-Qaeda & Iraq, and every one of them proved to be "suspect" by the Defence Department.
Way down on the list of reasons to go to war was "liberating the Iraqi people."
We go to war, quite often, because we want to.

Because Republicans were dumb to begin with, and Bush's lie was so good. Some of them have even been manipulated irreversibly to believe that the terrorists that flew the planes into the World Trade center were from Iraq. Throw in the fact that Republicans have a natural inclination to deny reality, and you have the answer to your question.

The WMD's were there! But the U.N. dragged their feet with all of those resolutions. Saddam had them removed and sent to Syria. He did use chemical weapons on the Kurds AND the Iranians during that Iran-Iraq war, as well.

Are you really so ignorant?
Bush acted on the same intel that the entire world had, including the Clinton administration (in 1998) before Bush had even considered running.
Do a little research in the future. It will go a long way to help you not look ignorant.

The war was approved by a veto-proof supermajority of both houses of congress. It is not Bush's war, nor was he the one who lied about it. Two bi-partisan congressional committees practically demanded we go to war, they provided the intelligence data everyone relied on to make the decision.

Polish, Italian and other troops located caches of WMDs. The dual use technology still has not been accounted for. Saddam's own officers and scientists admitted they were working on WMDs.

Bury thy head in the sand and never admit they do wrong. Defend everything they do because you can't think for yourself.
