I didn't feel my first baby moving until I was around 4 1/2-5 months. I felt my second when I was around 3 1/2-4. The more kids you have, the softer your uterus lining is, so therefore you can feel more, sooner.
They felt like little pokes, but coming from the inside. Sometimes it would feel like gas, sometimes it would feel like a knife. But that was usually only when they would sit on a bad nerve, or push all my organs into my throat!! Or play when I was taking a bath, they'd turn to the side, and play in the water!!
I thought I might have been preg one time, because I was irregular, and not sure when I would start my period, and I felt something that felt like gas/baby kicks. Come to find out, it was just the food moving, and some other kind of stuff, just creeping along in my tummy. You don't have to fart everytime you feel a little bubbley movement. You could be feeling the baby moving, but there's no DEFINATE way to tell right now.

Well he sounds like a right idiot, if you ask me. If he's basically saying "Me or the baby" - Of course PICK THE BABY! Since he's clearly not worth keeping if he even suggests that question! Remember, if he wants to "get things straight with you" first, before any children - you've got another 8 months or so! If he's not willing to accept the fact that he has a child on the way, he can get lost. He shouldn't be telling you to carry out a procedure that you think is wrong. It's your baby, he just helped in the making. He might well change his mind a few weeks or months down the line, in which case - about freaking time. Once his brother has his baby & his parents see their grandchild - Your man will undoubtedly feel rotten about passing up the chance to go through it all himself. The parents are only doing what normal parents do. Their son has made a decision - They're respecting it. Although, there'll be a time when they wonder why they only have 1 grandchild instead of 2 & the whole grand scheme will come crashing down. Make it clear to the man that you're keeping the baby. You're young & should not have anyone forcing you to do anything you may regret later in life. If he doesn't like it, leave him.

I first felt my baby move at 15 weeks. It felt like butterflies fluttering. From everything I've read, between 16-18 weeks is the usual time frame for first time mommies to feel the baby move for the first time. However, I've heard of women saying they could feel it at 12-13 weeks. If you are very in tune with your body and your sure it wasn't gas, then it probably was the baby moving. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy, delivery and baby.

With my first, I could feel what felt like a small beat, but only when I was flat on my back, going to bed at night, and there were no other deistractions. The first time I really felt a big movement, it felt like a bubble that grew suddenly and then the movement stopped.
They say you can feel them move when you are between 4 to 6 months, but I know sometimes if you are very still, you can feel it earlier.

In my first pregnancy, I was about 16-18 weeks pregnant when I realized I felt the baby move. The best description I was given was that it felt like a pen jab you from the inside. In my second pregnancy I felt my son move at around 14 weeks...since I knew what I was feeling, I felt him earlier.

i'm pregnant with my first also, and i didnt feel her until about 16 wks or so. the best way to describe it is a flutterinng kind of feeling, or like a bubble moving inside your stomach. some women can feel the baby move as early as 14 weeks, some as late as 20-24. the more tuned into your body, the more likely you'd be to feel it early. with subsequent pregnancies, women often the baby earlier, bc its a familiar feeling and they recognize it. with first babies, even though its moving around, you usually wont notice it until later when the movements are stronger, bc you cant recognize them early. congrats and good luck!

I think I felt my baby around 16 weeks--it's hard to imagine--but it really does feel like popcorn popping when you first feel him/her.
I also got the kicks and movements that felt like gas bubbles.
as you get further along though--you'll notice the kicks and jabs.
Im due in 2 weeks and mine is still raring to go in there, lol

I felt the little pops around 17 weeks(this is my first pregnancy). I will 20 weeks or Friday and I feel it more and more, but it is still really light, just like pop corn popping on my tummy, very low, several inchs below my belly button.
