Well, the great thing at your age is that you are on the verge of adulthood, but can still act silly and be carefree for a few more years and get by with it. You are at the age where you are discovering that you can have a bad attitude towards anyone and anything and blame it on hormones. You don't have to worry about supporting yourself at this time and a teen girl's life isn't usually heavily burdened by a lot of responsibilities.
You have your whole life ahead of you! You can conquer the world - - - - or whatever else you set as your life goal.
However, with all that said, at the same time, a teen girl's life can also be difficult. The stress of school, assignments, tests and peer pressure - - - friends' betrayals, acne, self-image, broken hearts and disagreements with parents. Ask any woman and she will tell you she'd never repeat her teenage years.
You just need to make the most of life, no matter what age you are. Celebrate each day!

It is how your perceive it. It isn't like the day you turn 13 your life becomes magical and sparkly. Usually as a teenager you encounter many "firsts" (license, car, sex, prom, graduation). These things usually are exciting, if you see them as no big deal they wont be a big deal. But I suggest looking at the bright side of things. You wont ever have another time in your life when you will get a chance to do some of these things. It doesn't mean the rest of your life will be boring, it just means that this is your first taste of adulthood so enjoy it. I am a teenage girl, it isn't awesome it isn't horrible, but life is usually better when I throw a happy face on or realize that all the drama doesn't matter. So, go live it up and enjoy!

I was a teenage girl. I'm glad I'll never have to be one again! But I think that had more to do with being a teenage nerd rather than a teenage girl. Anyway, I'd advise you to find things that make your life happy and focus on those, and don't worry too much about the things that suck, unless, of course, you can change them!

Being a very old woman, I may not have the right answer. Sounds easy. Being a teenager of any sex is a very difficult time in life. I believe sometimes you expect too much of yourself and society wants you to be all grown up by the 2nd grade. PLAY. Go swing in the park, play with your brothers or sisters or firends or your parents even. Never forget how to play. I believe they call it "stopping to smell the roses" but it is simply playing. With computers, and all their spawn, we sometimes forget how to do the simple things. I have four very grown children and if I leave them with nothing else in their lives, I want them to always remember how to play. One of them is a daughter. Teenage years are generally thought of as "hard" and I have no doubt that they are (I remember mine). If anyone had had the good sense to tell me how much fun my children would be in their teen years, I would have worried less. PLAY
