If anything they slow you down, I just dont see the benefit

they are for the boy racers to try and jump as high as they can off
and to slow ambulances down(have you seen how fast they go you would think they are in a hurry or something)

the point of speed bumps is to slow down and have a fun ride.

Its there to save lives esp the children live by the road traffic. Its reduce the speed. And blind spot where the driver don't see when they drive too fast to see children walking cross the road in any road as quiet or busy road. That why it happen and it there to protection the lives of children.

TO give people stuck in never-ending traffic jams a very small rollercoaster ride experience to relieve the boredom when they move 100yards in 4 hrs,wheeeeeeeeee+/ - oooooooooerrrr.clap clap yeh that was aweflsome!

So the local kids have got something to ride their skateboards over & drive the residents mad with the never ending slamming of wheels!!!

Speed bumps are supposed to slow you down, if you don't you can ruin the undercarriage of your vehicle. :)
