Bubbles: it is a common misconception that Walt Disney was frozen. In fact, he was buried and has a real gravesite with headstone and was never frozen. His death was actually never "reported" as frozen by any credible new source, only purported to be so by popular, and incorrect, oral myth.

Walt Disney was cremated. Because of his interest in "Futureland" he may have had either a personal or a professional interest, but this is just a rumor. Ted Williams was cryopreserved at Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Arizona, Timothy Leary got "cold feet" and backed-out at the last minute. Many of those who have been cryopreserved chose to be anonymous and it is understandable that famous people might want to do this. But "freezing" is not the right word because "anti-freeze" solutions are used to prevent ice formation and ice damage.
